  Family owned and operated Samurai Sushi, located just west of Rudy's Hideaway on Folsom Blvd., is great between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. It's convenient for a 7:00 p.m. movie at The Century 14, or the Palladio Theaters in Folsom. The bar usually has a few seats open and Mary, resident bartender in chief for the past five years, runs the bar smoothly. Recommend the Seared Steak.

  Decent sushi place with good, fast service and giant sushi boats. If you come here and it's your birthday you get to spin the wheel and maybe get a free roll. The fish isn't as fresh here like it is with Sacramento restaurant Kru or even Mikuni's. Decent drink specials and food specials. Good place for a large group.

  The food was great. The prices are fair. Most importantly, our server Mina was very sweet and attentive. She made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
